The mornings were spectacular in Arizona’s Petrified Forests NP. Even though I was in the desert, the mornings were crisp and it was lovely to see the sun rise and bring light to this environment.

A section of Bandelier National Monument where the Ancestral Tewa Pueblo people lived and farmed. They would climb up and down these footpaths to go from their homes on the mesa to the canyon to farm below.
Close to Bandelier National Monument, this is the site of a huge volcanic eruption 1.25 million years ago. The piece was written when Jill was an Artist in Residence at nearby Bandelier National Monument
1st movement of the 4 movement National Park Suite highlighting 4 different Parks for solo oboe/English Horn and Orchestra. Berks Sinfonetta Orchestra premieres this arrangement with Jill Haley at Hawk Mountain Sanctuary in PA. This movement is about 3 pools of water and the mist surrounding them in Zion National Park, Utah.
Early morning in Frijoles Canyon in Bandelier is welcomed by the sunlight, the stream and the birds. The birds join Jill on this tune she wrote while an Artist in Residence at Bandelier National Monument
